Approach

Test

Test to see if the proof is in the pudding. Monitoring and learning are central to the sixth step. We see if the project is functioning as intended. As a result, we learn what is good and what can be improved. And we can make adjustments if necessary. Our involvement consists of speaking with visitors and employees, examining aspects of use together and, if necessary, making proposals for adjustment - which may lead to a new idea.

PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH

Always be learning. With shifting demographics, technological advances, developments in your local surroundings and co., change is the only constant. Don’t be afraid to evaluate your project – now or in the future. It feels good to know for certain that you are fulfilling the promise you made to your users.

CHECK ASSUMPTIONS

We use both online and offline research to collect data, in-person or digital data gathering to determine whether a place functions as intended. Of course, we also visit projects, listen, look and walk alongside users to gauge the feel and uncover underlying changes, new facts or developments to see how we can help improve your project if need be.

OUR METHODS

We provide proof points. We create before vs. after maps, impact maps and improvement maps. User investigations help understand how your target audience experiences the place. Short video documentaries or podcasts open up a dialogue and often generate many concrete examples of usage or succinct descriptions of a project’s impact.
